About GatherWorks
GatherWorks is a privately held company founded in 2003 by President and CEO Frik Strecker. Mr. Strecker has more than 15 years experience in voice and video networking over IP and ATM networks. Prior to forming GatherWorks, Mr. Strecker held various executive positions at First Virtual Communications including Chief Technology Officer, Vice President of Worldwide Customer Support and Vice President of Engineering, where he played a key role in the architecture of the Click to Meet family of products. Mr. Strecker held product line management positions at Fore Systems. GatherWorks' original focus was software add-ons for video conferencing, but it quickly changed to web conferencing. |
